Pay your way with Alipay+

From APAC to the EURO Cup: We turned creators’ journeys into engaging content that showed fans how to β€œpay your way to outsized experiences” with Alipay+.

The Context

Alipay+ was announced as a sponsor for the UEFA EURO Cup, a massive platform to showcase the brand. Yet, 58% of travelers still relied on cash.

The challenge: how to encourage scanning-to-pay behavior in a way that felt natural and engaging.

The Approach

We partnered with creators across Southeast Asia to document their journey from Shanghai, Seoul, Tokyo, KL, and Singapore all the way to Germany using Alipay+. Along the way, they highlighted the app, its benefits, and hidden deals, showing fans how to β€œpay your way to outsized experiences.”

In Germany, creators continued to showcase the sponsorship, giving behind-the-scenes access to matchday experiences while encouraging fans to adopt Alipay+ to unlock similar opportunities.

Content formats included vlogs, livestream challenges, and collaborative content, all designed to educate, inspire, and entertain while driving engagement and adoption.
